 25. juni 2005 arrangerte Gjenbruksprosjektet i samarbeid med Recycled Materials Resource Center, University of New Hampshire, USA (http://www.rmrc.unh.edu), en internasjonal workshop med tittelen "Recycled materials in road and airfield pavements". Arrangementet var en forløper til konferansen "Bearing capacity of roads and airfields” (www.bcra05.no), som ble holdt i Trondheim 27. - 29. juni.
