Financing

The Gardermoen to Biri expansion project will be financed through governmental funds and road tolls.

We have estimated the expansion of the E6 from Gardermoen to Kolomoen will cost in the region of NOK 5.7 million. The Norwegian Parliament has allocated NOK 1.5 million and the remainder will come from road tolls.

The Norwegian Parliament is not funding the expansion of the E6 from Kolomoen to Biri, although there is a possibility that financing for the project will be included in the Norwegian Parliament’s National Transport Plan (NTP) for 2010 to 2019. The Norwegian Parliament will take up the matter during spring 2009.
