ITS towards 2020

Which technological solutions can contribute to a safer and more environmentally friendly road-traffic with great accessibility and ability to navigate?

ITS (Intelligent transport systems) is developing fast. Through the project ITS towards 2020 the road authorities will test and collect knowledge on how technology and equipment functions, and how the road-users are effected, in order to make us able to choose good and future-oriented solutions.

The picture shows how ITS contributes to improve the traffic-safety both in between vehicles and between vehicles and cyclists, pedestrians/the surroundings.
