How to get to Vegdirektoratet

Getting to The Norwegian Public Roads Administration's Head Office (Statens vegvesen Vegdirektoratet).

The Head Office is located at Brynseng in Oslo. It is possible to get here by car/taxi, bus, train or by subway (T-bane).

By subway (T-bane):
Lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 will get you to Brynseng subway station. If you are travelling from the center of Oslo, the subway is a convenient way to get to Brynseng.
The travel by subway takes about 8-10 minutes from the city center.
Make sure you are getting on the subway in the correct direction (north/east).
There is a two minutes walk from Brynseng subway station to the reception. (See map.) The main entrance is is on the opposite side of the subway.

By bus:
Bus stop for Line no 23 (Lysaker - Simensbråten), see map.
For more bus lines to our head office, consult Trafikanten  on Internet, or call: 177.

Taxi:
Take a print of this page (incl. map) and show to the taxi driver.
It may be a bit tricky to get here by car, and we have experienced that some taxi drivers are not familiar with the route yet.

By train:
There is a train station close to the main office "Bryn".
Some local trains stop at this station.
The train from the airport "Flytoget" does not use this line.
