Who can inspect your vehicle?
Inspections can be carried out by establishments approved by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, including authorised
garages and the Norwegian Automobile Association (NAF). The NPRA stopped performing inspections on 1 July 2009. The inspecting
establishment is responsible for reporting the result of the inspection to the NPRA. You are also entitled to have a copy
of the inspection sheet, so that if questions should arise later you will have documentation showing that the inspection has
been conducted.
