Opening hours at our Driver and Vehicle Licensing Offices – Summer 2022

A number of our Licensing Offices (trafikkstasjoner) are closed or have shorter opening hours this summer. See here which ones this applies to.

Most of the things you can get done at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office can also be done on your own through our self-service facility online. It is both cheaper and easier to renew your driving licence or transfer the registration of your vehicle online, at your convenience.

If you have a session booked for a practical driving test or a vehicle test, you must come to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office even if the office otherwise is closed.

Agder

  • Arendal: Closed Monday  11 July, Monday 18 July, Monday 25 July and Monday 1 August
  • Flekkefjord: Closed Monday 11 July – Friday 15 July and Monday 26 July – Friday 30 July
  • Kristiansand: Closed Friday 22 July, Friday 29 July and Friday 5 August
  • Setesdal: Closed Monday 18 July – Friday 29 July

Rogaland

  • Egersund: Closed Monday 11 July – Friday 5 August
  • Sauda: Closed Monday 18 July – Friday 12 August

Vestland

  • Førde: Only open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10:00 – 14:00 in the period 18 July – 12 August
  • Nordfjordeid: Only open Thursdays 10:00 – 14:00 in the period 18 July – 12 August 
  • Odda: Only open Tuesdays 09:00 – 14:30 in the period 27 June – 5 August
  • Sogndal: Only open Tuesdays 09:00 – 14:00 in the period 4 July – 29 July  

Møre og Romsdal

All Driver and Vehicle Licensing Offices in Møre og Romsdal are open as usual.

Trøndelag

  • Brekstad: Closed Tuesday 12 July, Monday 18 July, Tuesday 19 July, Monday 25 July and Tuesday 26 July
    Open 10:00 – 14:00 on other weekdays in the period Monday 11 July – Friday 29 July
  • Levanger: Closed on Tuesday 19 July
  • Oppdal: Closed Monday 18 July – Friday 22 July
  • Orkdal: Closed on Friday 22 July
