Information cookies at vegvesen.no
We use a number of web analysis tools, which can store cookies on your device when you use vegvesen.no. Web pages where we have embedded contents from other external facilities may also store cookies on your device.
We use the Google Analytics analysis tool to collect information about how users use our web pages, how they find their way, what they search for and what pages they use most frequently. The information cannot be traced back to single individuals.
Google Analytics store parts of a user’s IP address, but the final eight digits of the address is removed for the sake of data protection. Google thus does not store detailed geographical information about users, only geographical area or municipality.
We also use the tool Google Tag Manager together with Google Analytics. This gives us data about how selected elements on our website work, such as menus and buttons, file downloading or video viewing.
We use the Hotjar analysis tool to learn how selected web pages and facilities work. Through Hotjar, we can see if users for example view and click on links, buttons, menus and form fields, and how far down they scroll on our pages.
Our users’ IP addresses are anonymised, and contents users enter in form fields are encrypted before they are stored.
On our web pages we carry out surveys using the Questback tool 2-4 times per year. The surveys are anonymised, and the tool is only active while the survey is going on.
We use Siteimprove Analytics to identify links that do not work, writing errors and duplicate content. Siteimprove also contains tools that help us identify improvement potential within universal design of our web pages and search engine visibility.
