«Rallarvegen» or «the Navvy Road» is 614 km long.
You cycle on low-traffic roads and some places on pedestrian/cycle paths.
Cycling on «Rallarvegen» itself is very popular; here you mainly follow the old gravel road that used to be the construction road for the Oslo-Bergen railway line. This part of the route is only open during the summer season, and when it becomes passable depends on the snow melting.
The following route sections are signposted:
- Krødern - Geilo
