If you wish to keep your driving licence after you have turned 80, you need to submit a health certificate from your doctor.

Renewing heavy vehicle licence categories with a health certificate
You must renew your licence for heavy vehicle categories every five years. From the age of 66, and in some other cases, you must renew it more often.

Driving licences with limited terms of validity due to health issues
If you have diabetes, epilepsy or other medical conditions that have given your driving licence limited validity, you must submit a health certificate.
