If you have questions about your driving license or vehicle, you can use the NPRA’s chat feature.
When you select "start chat", you will first meet a chatbot that can answer questions about driving licences and vehicle registration. The chatbot is a computer program that can help you find answers to your questions. The chatbot is available 24/7 and has no waiting time.
On weekdays between 8:00 and 15:00, you may be put through to a customer service consultant if the chatbot cannot answer your query. What you have already typed in the chat will be visible to our consultant, so you will not need to repeat your questions.
Privacy protection
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) processes personal data in accordance with our privacy policy .
Once you have started a chat, you can at any time select "Delete chat log". You will find it if you select "Open settings" at the top of the chat window.
In addition to deleting the chat, you can download it at any time.
All chat logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.
