Here is how to prevent accidents with the right equipment:
- Wear clothes that keep you warm and dry. In Norway, the weather changes frequently, and when you are cold and wet, you are less attentive.
- Wear coloured equipment – especially on your arms and helmet – and ideally a reflective vest. This makes you more visible, and as a motorcyclist you are dependent on other road users seeing you.
- Make sure you see well: Check that there are no scratches on your glasses or helmet visor, and your helmet should ideally have a sun visor. Scratches may cause disturbing reflections, and a sun visor protects you from the glare of the sun.
