Norway and Denmark

Norwegian Tempo 100 sticker accepted for driving in Denmark

As from 18 March 2024, the Norwegian Tempo 100 sticker is approved for towing a trailer at speeds up to 100km/h in Denmark. The other conditions for Tempo 100 driving in Norway apply in the same way in Denmark.

Danish Tempo 100 sticker accepted for driving in Norway

As from 18 March 2024, the Danish Tempo 100 sticker is approved for towing a trailer at speeds up to 100km/h in Norway. This does not apply to Norwegian-registered trailers. If the trailer is registered in Norway, it must have a Norwegian sticker to be allowed to drive at speeds above 80 km/h in Norway.

It is important to be aware that Denmark offers Tempo 100 permits to both trailers registered in Denmark and trailers registered in a country other than Denmark.

To be allowed to drive at speeds up to 100 km/h in Norway with a Danish Tempo 100 permit, the same requirements apply as in Denmark: You need to carry the Tempo 100 permit in the car while driving, and the requirements concerning the towing car and the combination of car and trailer apply accordingly.
