Find a garage/testing centre near you, where you can book a session for the mandatory roadworthiness test (“EU test”).
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration does not carry out roadworthiness tests, but we approve and inspect the garages / testing centre that are authorised to carry out such tests.
Not all garages are authorised to carry out mandatory roadworthiness tests (“EU tests”). It is therefore important that you find one that is approved for this purpose.
You have to take the test in Norway
Vehicles registered in Norway cannot take the mandatory roadworthiness test abroad. If you are planning a long stay abroad, you should therefore take this into account and plan accordingly.
Price
The price of a mandatory roadworthiness test is determined by the individual garage.
