When you have applied for a driving licence, you can apply for an assisted theory test.

Prepare valid documentation

Before applying, you must obtain documentation that confirms your need for assisted theory test. This could, for example, be from your speech therapist or general practitioner.

Be accurate and follow all steps

Make sure the information you provide is correct and that you have attached correct documentation. Otherwise, it may take longer to process your application. Most applicants will receive a response to their application within two weeks, but it may sometimes take up to four weeks.
