When you take an assisted theory test for special-needs candidates, you take the test orally. You sit in a separate room, accompanied by an examiner.

The examiner will assist you

When you take an assisted theory test for special-needs candidates, you take the test orally, in a separate room accompanied by an examiner. The test will be adapted to you and your needs, but the purpose is for the examiner to help you understand the questions and the answer options.

Audio support is available for regular theory tests

You can have the questions and answer options read out aloud in Norwegian. Ask for headphones at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office. You can also request extra time for the test.
