Weekly driving periods
Total driving time per week must not exceed 56 hours.
This maximum total driving time requires that an agreement has been concluded in accordance with the rules on working hours for drivers.
- A week is defined from midnight before Monday morning to midnight before the next Monday morning.
- If you drive two weeks in a row, your total driving time cannot exceed 90 hours.
Rules relating to working hours restrict the length of the total driving time (working time) allowed per week. Rules relating to working hours for drivers include rules for drivers' working hours, and allow agreements on extended working hours, overtime, etc.
