Forskningsprosjektene i FjordX har stor betydning for rekruttering til sektoren og utdanning av masterstudenter.
Fokusområdene er:
- Utvikling av nye datamodeller for modellering og beregning av lastvirkning (naturlaster, ulykkeslaster).
- Konstruksjonsrespons.
- Utvikling av nye byggemetoder og beregningsmetoder for å redusere både kostnader og miljøutslipp.
- Utvikling av digitale verktøy for datahåndtering og instrumentering av brukonstruksjoner.
