Apply for a company card
To download and lock tachograph data, your company needs a company card. You can order the company card in two different ways.
Applying in our online facility
The company card may be ordered in our online self-service facility when you log in to Your Page. The company must have an organisation number and the person applying for a company card on behalf of the company must be connected to the company in Altinn. When you log in to Your Page, you will see whether you have the right to act on behalf of yourself or a company.
A new company card costs NOK 280 when you apply for it on Your Page. You will in most cases receive the card by post within five to ten business days, depending on place of delivery.
If you do not have an organisation number, you can fill in the application on paper (PDF, Norwegian) (with a Norwegian national identity number instead of organisation number) and hand it in at a Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office.
Applying at a Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office
If you wish to apply at a Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office, you should book an appointment to avoid having to wait in line.
We recommend that you print out the application form (attached at the bottom of this page) and fill it in in advance.
You can apply for a company card if you are the owner/user of the card, or if you bring a signature from the company manager and a certificate of registration in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises (Brønnøysund Register Centre).
Our case officer will check whether you meet the criteria to be issued with a company card.
The card costs NOK 310 at a Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office and must be paid at the counter. You will in most cases receive the card by post within five to ten business days, depending on place of delivery.
